次世代シーケンサーやマイクロアレイ解析を用いて包括的に取得したゲノム、エピゲノム、トランスクリプトームなどの多重な生命情報を統合することによって、生命現象とりわけ癌などの疾患をシステムとして理解することを目指しています。大量情報処理は生命科学が直面する大きな課題であり、計算生物学研究者との連携が必須であり、両者の融合した研究環境作りを目指しています。
